Hologram Dashboard release notes

Keep up with our latest updates to the Hologram Dashboard and APIs.

December 19, 2024 – v1.40.8

What’s new

  • We’ve gone back to using the term Monthly recurring charge (or MRC) instead of "Platform fee” to refer to the per SIM monthly charge for an active SIM. Nothing is changing except the words we’re using.

What’s improved

  • The Home page now links to the SIMs pages, and we have removed the old data usage chart which was the cause of some navigation and loading issues for organizations with over 10,000 SIMs.
  • Last active dates in the SIMs pages have been renamed to Last closed session. This is a more accurate label for the data shown.

What’s fixed

  • The SIMs page status filters select the correct status after refreshing, and when using URL parameters to pre-filter the page.
  • A number of small display bugs in the single SIM details page.

December 5, 2024 – v1.40.0

What’s new

  • Connected status now displays in the SIMs pages and when viewing a single SIM, including for SIMs in pre-deployment testing. This status appears when a SIM is assumed to have an open data session, actively communicating with a network.

Known issues with open session data

  • Connected status is display-only in the SIMs pages (Active and Pre-deployment SIMs). You can’t filter or sort on these statuses yet.
  • SIMs with Outage Protection that have recently fallen back to a second profile will list the enabled profile as the last profile that had a closed session.
  • Last active dates do not yet account for open sessions.
  • Data usage reports are not aware of open sessions or Connected statuses.
  • Open session data is unavailable for networks that send data usage through reporting windows.

December 3, 2024v1.39.0

What’s new

  • Webhooks and Routes are now available in the SIMs pages for accounts with access.

What’s fixed

  • Our Sign Up page had issues with certain password managers like LastPass.
  • Emailed collaborator invitations now do not prevent registration if the token is removed by an external privacy measure.
  • Network information was missing from session info in the data usage report for a single SIM.
  • Some filters our data usage by SIM and day and single SIM reports did not properly filter all the data in the reports.

November 15, 2024v1.38.0

What’s new

  • Deactivate SIMs, Rename SIMs, Set data limits, and Transfer SIMs in bulk in the SIMs pages using the Manage SIMs dropdown.
  • Deactivate, Set a data limit, and Transfer a single SIM from the Manage SIM dropdown on its details page.

What’s fixed

  • Pre-deployment SIMs can now be seen by Editor Limited roles.
    • This was a bug we introduced then fixed as part of a broader update on user roles, but we heard your feedback and are keeping this behavior.

Known issues

  • These newly added bulk actions do not yet work reliably for large SIM counts.
