IMEISV vs IMEI

The IMEI is the device's modem identifier. The IMEI value we show on the Hologram Dashboard and our REST API is one we receive from the cellular network each time a device connects successfully. In addition the IMEI our REST API will also return values for the IMEISV which is the 14 digit IMEI and 2 digits at the end denoting software version compared to a regular IMEI which is the 14 digits plus a checksum digit at the end. This software version can be used to distinguish between different module versions deployed among your organization's devices using the same cellular module
