The Hologram Nova is a cellular modem purpose-built for global IoT development with single board computer compatibility and Hologram software tools.
The max speed of 2G/3G and LTE CAT-M1 vary on multiple different factors ranging from tower congestion to tower density, carrier and even the weather. Therefore, it is hard to give one specific figure. However, the modems are rated for the following speeds: Download/Upload 5.76/7.2 Mbps for the 2G/3G module and Download/Upload 75/75 Kbps for the CAT-M1 Version.
