As you log in to your dashboard, you will land on this homepage view which quickly summarizes your device status, inventory counts, Preflight readiness, and Active SIM data usage over the last 30 days.
For organizations with Inflight, you will be able to access Action Items directly at the top of the homepage view, giving you instant visibility into things that need your attention. If you're interested in Hologram Inflight, reach out to your Hologram Account Executive or contact our Sales team to learn more about our enterprise features.
For organizations with Preflight, you will be able to see the count of how many devices are Preflight ready and how many are inactive directly in the homepage.
For organizations that have not ordered their SIM cards yet or have data with less than 30 days, the homepage will offer resources to help you get started while data is being populated.
View device status breakdowns
The Hologram Dashboard homepage surfaces critical device information up-front, so you can easily see your total device count by status.
When you land on the homepage, you will see a total count of all device status types (active, connected, ready, paused) at the top of your view. This panel summarizes the total device count by status. As you click on any device count breakdown, you will go to the Devices page with your device table pre-filtered based on the section you clicked on. This gives you the ability to see the full device status breakdown at-a-glance in your homepage, and easily navigate one layer deeper to see device-level data with one click.
For example, in the graphic above you click on the 237 Ready Devices on the homepage, you will be taken to the Devices page. On this page, the Active Devices segment is automatically selected within the dropdown, and the Status drawer is open with the Ready Status checked. Here you you will the device table with all 237 Active Devices listed, you can then filter further or take action on a specific device.
See and act on data usage
With the homepage, you can see your device data usage over the last 30 days in one view. As you scroll toward the bottom of the page, you will see a chart showing the total number of devices that have used data in the last 30 days, as well as average data usage per device. You can hover over specific dates to see total usage by day. This not only gives you a holistic view of your past 30 days of usage, but can help you pinpoint any irregularities by the day or seasonality to account for.
You can also use tagging to further filter, analyze and run reports on your usage data. Inside the Data Usage panel, you can filter this data by selecting the dropdown, Filter by Tags. Select one or several tags from the menu and click Run Report. Once you select the tags you want applied, the data Data Usage panel will update and reflect only devices that have those tags applied.
To revert back to the unfiltered state, again click the Filter by Tags dropdown, select None at the top of the dropdown and then click Run Report.
